The Turkey Tourney
The Turkey Tourney, sponsored by Broasted Brothers, is fast approaching!
We still have availability in the 4.0-4.5 event. Register your team today and take advantage of early bird pricing!
The rest of the events are stuffed. Spots were gobbled up fast! We are accepting waitlist teams.
PICKLEFALL
We’re looking forward to our second annual PICKLEFALL. Our community has grown over the past year, so rather than a one-night event, Picklefall will be a week-long celebration of our pickleball friends and family.
Join us for a week of raffles, surprise pop-ups, fall treats, The Turkey Tourney, and opportunities to get your kids and grandkids on the court too!
This year, Picklefall will benefit Covenant House Michigan (CHMI), which provides young people experiencing homelessness with shelter, educational and vocational programs, along with a wide array of services. Thank you to longtime PPC member, Anne K., for helping us make this happen!
Learn more about Covenant House Michigan here: https://covenanthousemi.org/
We’ll be collecting items all week for CHMI’s Home for the Holidays drive. Donations can be dropped off in the big box in the PPC lobby.
Wishlist items include adult sized winter coats, socks, underwear, winter boots, casual pants (sweatpants), sweatshirts, sports bras, twin sized comforters/sheets, toiletries, young adult books, sketchbooks/art supplies,
*Junior players should be registered in court reserve under their name. PPC will adjust registration rate accordingly for founding and pro member families. Questions about registration? Contact info@plymouthpickleball.com.
JUNIOR/FAMILY COURT TIME
Get your kids and grandkids on the court this holiday season. We’ve added a JUNIOR GUIDED OPEN PLAY WITH CHRIS WALKER Friday, November 27th at 2pm.
This guided open play is intended for players ages 8-18 and includes a group warm-up, a bit of skills and drills and organized game play. Groups will be divided by age and skill level as determined by the coaches.
KING & QUEEN OF THE COURT
Join us for NEW King and Queen of the Court micro leagues in December!
How is this different from ladder leagues? Rather than being assigned one court each week, you’ll move up and down the courts after each round of timed play (based on rank), giving you the opportunity to play with and against more players each week!
What’s a micro league? It’s an abbreviated league given the constraints of the holidays. We’re taking the opportunity to try something new and fun for a short bit!
LEARN TO PLAY AT PPC
We love teaching beginner players at PPC! Classes are limited to 4 players so you’ll be guaranteed to get plenty of individualized instruction. Coach Chad and Coach Austin make pickleball welcoming and approachable for all! Check out their upcoming Learn to Play classes and join us on the court!
PPC CLUB TEAM
Our first ever PLYMOUTH GALAXY CLUB TEAM ACADEMY launches this month! Our Monday night academy filled in warp speed so we added a second offering – Wednesday evenings at 7pm (there’s currently 2 spots left).
Interested in joining future PPC Club Team opportunities? Email chris@plymouthpikckleball.com to be added to our Club Team News.
POWER PLAY PACKS
The latest seasonal POWER PLAY PACKS are loaded in Court Reserve. Power Play Packs offer a great way to play more for less!
LUNCH LEAGUE CHAMPS
Congratulations to our LUNCH LADDER LEAGUE top finishers! What a fun and exciting season!
We’ll be taking a break from Lunch Ladder League until after the New Year. In the meantime, we hope to see a lot of you take advantage of our DUPR rating sessions that we’ll be offering in the NOON timeslot on Fridays for the next few weeks.
PARTNER DUPR RATING SESSIONS
Are you interested in establishing a DUPR rating? Are you looking to improve your DUPR accuracy by logging more games?
Join us at Fridays at Noon in November for PARTNER DUPR RATING SESSIONS! We’re offering two levels – one geared toward low intermediate players and another for high intermediate/advanced players.
Sign up with the partner of your choice and play together the entire session.
Participants must have a DUPR account linked to their Court Reserve account. Need help? Reach out to us at info@plymouthpickleball.com.
